An Elegant gentleman's knife with a minimalist flipper. It's hard to see in the pictures, but it's there. It functions well because of its grooves.The Japanese term Kaizen consists of the syllables Kai (change, transformation) and Zen (for the better) and describes the continuous striving for improvement. The designer of this knife kept that philosophy in mind when he fashioned this exquisite pocket knife. The visually obvious decorative pivot screw is balanced at the other end of the handle with a metalic lanyard hole. A deep carry pocket clip is on the back.

Material: D2 steel, containing manganese, nickel and silicon. Rockwell hardness of 59-61. Handle is G10, a glass-fiber reinforced plastic, that is used in many knives.
