Tomorrow is “Get to Know Your Customers Day”. How do you interact with your customers from week to week? It depends on what kind of business you have. You may consider these actions tomorrow:

  1. Phone or email your best customers, and ask them how they are using the products they bought from you
  2. Thank your customers using your facebook page, or other social media.
  3. Attend your local chamber of commerce meeting and take the opportunity to make some new contacts, and re-kindle some old ones.
  4. Ask your clients for ideas on how you can improve customer service.
  5. Give your best customers a fruit knife with your company logo. The fruit knife will last a long time, and so will your company logo. Think of how many people will see your knives…Friends, relatives, house guests.

How Engraved Tools Can Improve Your Profits

If you own a business, and have customers and employees, you would certainly be interested in increasing your profits. One special way to do this is to show your gratitude to those people using useful, long lasting gifts, such as engraved tools with your corporate logo. These are long lasting because of the materials they are made of, and your logo is laser engraved on the handle. Leatherman tools are perfect examples of this type of gift program. Your customers will appreciate your generosity, and probably buy more from you. Your loyal employees would feel more like family, and be more valuable to you.

Leatherman has a wide variety of inventory, and their tools are made in the USA. Here are some examples:

that you probably already own. Maybe these ideas will lead to more ideas of your own. If you happen to make a mistake, you can easily make it disappear. Save only the best masterpieces for display at the barbecue table this spring. With a little bit of practice, you will be amazed at what you can do with a bowl of fruit and a fruit knife.

Engraved Pocket Knives for NATIONAL RUNNING DAY

The first Wednesday in June in the USA is National Running Day.  It calls

attention to a hobby that has gained popularity over the last 20 years. People have become very health conscious lately. “60 is the new 40”. In the last century a 60 year old man looked 60 years old. Now he looks about 40, because of the new attitude toward health. Every weekend in the summer has a race somewhere near you. Participants don’t mind paying $20 to $75 to run in a group and get some swag. You don’t have to finish in the top three to get cash or a prize. You just have to be in the top 3 in your age bracket and sex bracket. Since there are many age brackets, for both men and women, there are many category winners.

How can you celebrate this day?

Supply Chain Issues Have Little Effect on Engraved Leatherman Tools

Great news! Engraved Leatherman Tools aren’t imported from China. They are made in the USA. Some parts are made overseas, but the final assembly is always done in Oregon at the Leatherman factory.

The recent supply chain problems that affect many products are a result of the Covid lockdowns in China. This week, the Advertising Specialy Institute (ASI) reported that “Suppliers say lockdowns in Shanghai and other areas of China are likely to delay restocking of promo products in North America.” The lockdown has created a huge pile-up of cargo ships near the Port of Shanghai. These ships are either waiting to get loaded or unloaded. How long will this last? It depends on the lockdown, and how the Chinese government handles the issue. Fortunately, Leatherman is in pretty good shape at the moment. Many other suppliers like SanMar (according to ASI) have anticipated this problem, and have stocked up on inventory, to above average levels. Other promotional product suppliers that saw this lockdown coming, also are probably prepared to meet customer demand this year.
