If ever there was a year that we were all excited to see come to a close, it would be 2020. With social and political unrest everywhere you go, it’s about time we press the reset button.
Your customers and employees will have a chuckle if you get them all pocket knives engraved with “So Long, 2020.”
In days like these, it’s important to keep our nation unified. What better way than to refresh our minds with a little history lesson about the U.S. Pledge of Allegiance? After all, today is a national holiday celebrating this special oath.
Did you know…
The first American pledge of allegiance (different from the one we recite today) was written by Captain George Thatcher Balch during the Civil War. It goes:
“We give our heads and hearts to God and our country; one country, one language, one flag!”
The pledge we all know today was based on one written by Francis Bellamy in 1892. It goes:
“I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all”
Congress formally adopted Bellamy’s pledge in 1942, and added the words “Under God” in 1954.
These company logo knives will help you and your customers celebrate this special day:

Any of these high-quality pocket knives can be engraved within 24 hours and then they’ll be on their way to you!
The holiday season is always a time to reflect on how you can give back to those less fortunate and to give thanks for all of the blessings you have received this year. Today is the National Day of Giving, commonly known as #GivingTuesday. It’s a day to donate your time, items, or money to charities that are meaningful to you.
Pocket knives engraved with #GivingTuesday are a great way to show the people you work with, and the community around you, that your company cares.
Don’t get me wrong- there are plenty of fun things to do indoors during the fall and winter months: board games; card games; movie nights; experimental baking. But sometimes you just need to get some fresh air- especially after this crazy year we’ve had.
Today is Take A Hike Day, and these are just the items you’ll need:
Quick! Without thinking, choose salsa or guacamole.
I’m on guacamole’s side for sure. It’s a sublime blend of avocado, lime, cilantro, tomato & onion- perfect to scoop with your chip or dollop on top of a taco. Yum!
Today is Spicy Guacamole Day, so add a jalapeno to it too!
These pocket knives engraved with your logo of choice are perfect to slice up those avocados:
What does being brave mean to you? It could simply mean facing a challenge head-on that you didn’t think you originally could face. This challenge could be something as small as facing your fear of heights by going to the top floor of a skyscraper. Or it could be even bigger like protecting and defending our country, as American military veterans have done, and continue to do.
Today is Veterans Day, a very special day in which Americans celebrate and honor all military veterans. The holiday originated as Armistice Day in 1919, as it honored the ending of WWI on the 11th hour of 11th day of 11th month in 1918. But in 1954, after the end of WWII, Armistice Day was renamed Veterans Day in order to honor American veterans of all wars, not just those who fought in WWI.
What better way to celebrate and thank our veterans than with pocket knives engraved with the American flag. Handing them out at your company or town’s Veterans Day celebration will brighten up everyone’s day.
It’s almost lunch time for me- my menu varies from a salad, to soup, or maybe just leftovers from last night. But today is Sandwich Day, so I think that is the route I’ll take today!
Did you know that logo knives are the secret ingredient to building the best sandwich?
Step 1- Locate your bread (white, multi-grain, tortilla, croissant)
Step 2- Choose your meats & cheeses
Step 3- Grab some veggies- lettuce, tomato, pickles, roasted red peppers, etc
Step 4- Top it off with mayo, mustard, or deli dressing
Step 5- Cut it in half with any of these logo knives:
We’re about a month into autumn and nature is showing its true abundance of colors. From green to golden yellow, orange, red, burgundy, and rich browns, it’s quite a sight to see.
