I found the best rescue pocket knives on display in Cleveland Ohio last week. Gordon Blake, of Big River Marketing is showing us the Heavy Duty Rescue Knife (with yellow bolster). In his other hand is the “Ball Bearing Assisted Opening Professional Grade Rescue Knife”. It opens with a breeze, using only one hand. Both knives are made by Utica Cutlery Company (the Kutmaster line).

It was introduced by Compass Promos at the OPPA product show in Cleveland Ohio in January 2018. Paul Rizzo, the company representative is shown here with the knife fully open. For a light weight knife, it is a full 4 inches long. It is light because of the minimalist handle design. As a bonus, it has the features on a multi-tool, with a carabiner, bottle opener, screwdriver, serrated blade, and a gut hook. The hook can be used to safely open a blister pack.
