that you probably already own. Maybe these ideas will lead to more ideas of your own. If you happen to make a mistake, you can easily make it disappear. Save only the best masterpieces for display at the barbecue table this spring. With a little bit of practice, you will be amazed at what you can do with a bowl of fruit and a fruit knife.

The Persistent Pertinence of Personalized Pocket Knives

Personalized Pocket Knives are persistently pertinent to the advertising efforts of businesses. That’s why business owners order them repeatedly. Why are they pertinent?

  4. They show your logo, and your laser engraved logo will not wear off.
  5. Personalized pocket knives reflect the permanence of your strong company.

You can’t go wrong when you give personalized pocket knives with your logo.

Engraved Pocket Knives for NATIONAL RUNNING DAY

The first Wednesday in June in the USA is National Running Day.  It calls

The Winners Get Engraved Pocket Knives

attention to a hobby that has gained popularity over the last 20 years. People have become very health conscious lately. “60 is the new 40”. In the last century a 60 year old man looked 60 years old. Now he looks about 40, because of the new attitude toward health. Every weekend in the summer has a race somewhere near you. Participants don’t mind paying $20 to $75 to run in a group and get some swag. You don’t have to finish in the top three to get cash or a prize. You just have to be in the top 3 in your age bracket and sex bracket. Since there are many age brackets, for both men and women, there are many category winners.

How can you celebrate this day?

Supply Chain Issues Have Little Effect on Engraved Leatherman Tools

Great news! Engraved Leatherman Tools aren’t imported from China. They are made in the USA. Some parts are made overseas, but the final assembly is always done in Oregon at the Leatherman factory.

The recent supply chain problems that affect many products are a result of the Covid lockdowns in China. This week, the Advertising Specialy Institute (ASI) reported that “Suppliers say lockdowns in Shanghai and other areas of China are likely to delay restocking of promo products in North America.” The lockdown has created a huge pile-up of cargo ships near the Port of Shanghai. These ships are either waiting to get loaded or unloaded. How long will this last? It depends on the lockdown, and how the Chinese government handles the issue. Fortunately, Leatherman is in pretty good shape at the moment. Many other suppliers like SanMar (according to ASI) have anticipated this problem, and have stocked up on inventory, to above average levels. Other promotional product suppliers that saw this lockdown coming, also are probably prepared to meet customer demand this year.

Observe National Skilled Trades Day with Logo Knives

Tomorrow, the first Wednesday in May, is National Skilled Trades Day in the US. This is a day set aside to recognize the importance of those who:

Logo Knives would be appreciated by a skilled tradesman
A Buck Squire Lockback would be appreciated by a skilled tradesman
  • Fix the furnace and air conditioning in your office and homes.
  • Paint ceilings, walls, and bridges.
  • Wire your house and the businesses.
  • Build your homes and businesses.
  • Repair aircraft.
  • Fix your cars.
  • Cut your hair.
  • Build the highways.

There are many job openings right now. It is hard to find people who want to work. Tomorrow, you can recognize these important workmen by:

  1. Calling them for assistance instead of doing it yourself.
  2. Thanking them.
  3. Give them a gift, like these useful logo knives. Any tradesman would appreciate a fine American-Made pocket knife.

Engraved Tools: The Good, Bad, and the Ugly

When you order engraved tools with your company logo, you usually want an attractive tool. You want tools that take a difficult job and make it easy. Here are some examples of the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly ones.

THE GOOD

The best example of this category is the world famous Leatherman Wingman. It is also my personal favorite. It contains about every tool that you could ever need in an emergency. Pliers, wire cutter, knife, bottle opener, blister package opener, can opener, file, scissors, etc.

THE BAD

My example for this group is the inspection mirror/pickup tool. Not that it is a bad tool, but it reminds me of the mirror that my dentist uses just before he starts up his drill.

Available in Red or Green Inspection Mirror/Pickup Tool 2292

THE UGLY

This is a difficult category to fill. I suppose it would have to be this new crazy looking worklight. It has an integral flexible cable that you can twist into any shape you want. It’s kind of odd looking. Maybe even ugly.
