Listen, for the most part I prefer to eat low-carb on a daily basis. But when my family finally convinces me to order pizza for dinner, I like the specialty recipes—Mediterranean Chicken with feta and sundried tomatoes, or prosciutto with fig and arugula. Today just isn’t my day- it’s Cheese Pizza Day.
Cheese pizza is just a bit too plain for my liking. But it doesn’t matter: this American-made Cutlery pizza cutter doesn’t care what toppings it’s slicing through, as long as it’s a warm pizza.
If your busy boss asks you to order some company logo knives to pass out at Christmas time, where do you start? Here is a helpful guide.
How to Order The Best Company Logo Knives
Decide on the quantity. Does each shop employee get one? What about the office employees? What about any subcontractors? What about the boss’s friends and relatives?
Determine the price of each knife.
Find a reputable online knife engraver.
Phone them to get some ideas. Knife merchants can be very helpful to solve your project objectives.
Furnish your best art file of your logo. Vector art (.ai or .eps) is the best art file for laser engraving onto knives.
Decide if you want to add a line of text somewhere on the knives. “Merry Christmas 2020”, “Thanks for 2020”, “Employee Appreciation Award 2020”, or some other appropriate tag line for your project.
Ask for a virtual proof, so you can show your boss, and get his approval. This is a step that he personally must be part of. Don’t try to guess what he would like.
Pay for the order, and ask for a ship date, so you can tell your boss when he can expect the knives.
Leatherman wins hands down, for introducing the “FREE” line of engraved tools. The coolest feature of these tools is the way you open and close each element. You don’t have to use your finger nails! You just use your finger pads. The secret is subtle. It involves magnets strategically placed in the tool to keep the elements closed. There are 2 models of knives (available in silver or black),
As the end of summer approaches, many bakers are looking to snag up the last of the ripe summer fruits to make pies, tarts, jams, sorbets, and many more yummy treats.
Peaches are one of this season’s prize fruits- they’re so juicy and sweet, which makes today (it’s Peach Pie Day!) a great day to bake with them.
What you’ll need for your peach pie:
Fresh peaches- about 8 cups, peeled & sliced
½ cup Sugar
1 tsp each of: cinnamon & vanilla extract
¼ tsp nutmeg
3-4 tbsp of cornstarch
Homemade or store-bought pie crust
A sharp fruit knife to cut into your juicy peaches
Mix the above ingredients together, place in your crust, and bake! Enjoy!

When you order gift pocket knives that have the recipient’s name or initials on each knife, these are called Personalized Pocket Knives. If all the knives have the same imprint, they would not be called “personalized”.
Here are some facts that you may not have known:
Personalized Pocket Knives
Personalization is not very expensive. It usually costs $5 per knife plus a setup charge of $25 for the whole order.
Instead of engraving the recipient’s first and last name, why not just the first name, and the years of service. “Jasonn–10 Years” instead of “Jasonn Smith”. The cost is the same either way.
The knife will last forever. Who would throw away a knife with their own name on it? So, your logo will also last forever.
Laser engraving is permanent. Electro etching is semi permanent.
You can submit your list of names in different ways: Excel spreadsheet, Word document, or just in an email.
If you misspell a name, it will be misspelled on the knife, and you paid for it.
The minimum order is the same as the minimum order for each particular knife.
To be honest, I know next to nothing about fishing. I fished a little when I was a kid, but I don’t know all the ins-and-outs of the sport. But for those who do, this is your lucky month- it’s Catfish Month.
There are many tasty fish you can catch out there, but catfish are the ones I caught with my dad when I was young. I remember trying to stick the worm on the hook, casting out, and crossing my fingers that we would catch one.
When we did, we would bring them home in a bucket and my dad would clean them with one of Buck Knives greatest knives- their Fillet Knife. Then my mom would dip them in batter and fry them up.
When a potential customer asks about engraved Buck knives, they will definitely ask some of these questions:

How soon can we have them? Production time is usually 10 business days after proof approval. If you need them for an event sooner than that, we might be able to meet your deadline. You might have to use UPS 2 day, or UPS next day air for the delivery method.
What kind of art file do you need? Vector art is the best art. Examples are .ai and .eps files. Please convert all text to curves. Your artist would know what that means. Other types of files may work, and we can convert them for a small fee.
Is laser engraving permanent? Laser burns your image into the substrate. The image cannot be scratched off or wear off. It is definitely permanent.
Can you imprint our color logo? Sorry, laser cannot do colors. However, if the substrate is anodized aluminum, the laser will burn down through the surface color and expose the metal color.
How much of a down payment do you need? Normally 100%, since this is a custom order. You may apply for an open account with us, and pay by check when the order is done. Acceptance of an open account may take a week or two, depending on the references that you give.
Do you take credit cards? Absolutely. We take all major credit cards.
Can we see a sample before you put our order into production? There are two kinds of samples. A virtual sample can be emailed to you for your approval. There is no charge for this. If you want to hold an engraved Buck knife in your hand, that has your imprint, that is called a speculation sample (or spec sample). They are not free. They normally cost the price of the knife, setup charge, shipping, and $50.
Today is a day where America celebrates its recipients of the Purple Heart. This prestigious award is given to members of the military who have been wounded, killed, or died from wounds caused by an enemy attack.
These service members deserve all of our praise- how can we celebrate them today?
